Meet The Tutors:
Allie S.
Hi! I’m Allie Slofkiss (from Marlboro, NJ). I first got to know Colton at the start of my junior year of high school when he helped me prepare for my SATs and ACTs. Colton was always more than just a tutor to me, though. He soon became a constant source of laughter, someone I could always count on to turn my days around, a trusted friend, and an educational and professional mentor. I was absolutely honored when Colton asked me to work for him during the summer before my senior year of high school, as it was always a passion of mine to teach younger students, help them to succeed inside and outside of the classroom, and to serve as a source of inspiration and encouragement for them.
I am a rising junior at Bucknell University, majoring in Biology (B.S.) and minoring in Anthropology. I am currently on the pre-health track and plan to attend chiropractic school after completing my undergraduate education in the Spring of 2024.
In addition to SAT and ACT prep, I often tutor Biology and Chemistry (at the elementary, academic, honors, AP, and collegiate levels), Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Statistics, and Calculus (at the Elementary, Academic, Honors, and AP levels), as well as English and History courses (from the Elementary to Collegiate level).
Alexis Giuliano
Hi everyone! My name is Alexis Giuliano, and I am from Manalapan, New Jersey. I am twenty years old and have known Colton since I was about 14 (wow, I feel old), as he tutored my brother prior to tutoring me for the SAT. I am currently a sophomore at the Villanova School of Business and am majoring in Finance with a minor in Business Law and Corporate Governance.
I tutor different levels of math, ranging from Geometry and Algebra to Calculus. I also tutor for the math section of the SAT.
The combination of being from New Jersey and coming from a very Italian family makes me one of the loudest, most extroverted people you’ll ever meet! If I could have a conversation with my younger self, I would tell myself not to put so much pressure on myself. Being in college has taught me that if you work hard, you will succeed. There is no need to stress over each minimal thing because everything works itself out. In ten years, I see myself living in New Jersey and working in NYC. I hope to have traveled to many parts of the world at this point and started to settle down while having a job that I love!
Mike Fratacci
Hey everyone! My name is Mike Fratacci, and I am currently a junior at the University of Delaware studying Mathematics and Economics. I met Colton through SAT tutoring while in high school at Freehold Township. After finishing my SAT, I asked Colton for a job, and somehow I landed it! Colton and I have worked on projects together, such as the math and grammar cheat sheet, which has become part of the strategy tutoring process. I am also a history buff! I love learning new things, especially if it pertains to math or history—also, an ideal Friday night watching a movie than going out.
I specialize in tutoring math; however, I have experience tutoring students in SAT Prep.
If I had a time machine, I would probably tell myself just to relax and let things happen. When I was in high school, I was uptight and worried about college. I came to learn with the proper preparation and dedication; everything worked out. In the next ten years, I see myself working in the real estate sector, making investments in property, and flipping houses.
